Located in the heart of Toronto’s financial district, the Toronto Dominion Centre symbolized Toronto’s emergence as a major city and established a new standard for office buildings in Canada. The Centre launched in 1967 with the Toronto Dominion Bank Tower, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe with B+H as Architect of Record in Joint Venture with John B. Parkin and Associates. 

B+H was also the Architect or Joint-Venture Architect for the Banking Pavilion, the Royal Trust Tower, the Canadian Pacific Tower, the Maritime Life Tower, and the Ernst & Young Tower. The Toronto Dominion Centre received the 25-Year Award from the Ontario Association of Architects in 2003, an Office Building of the Year Award (for a project over 1,000,000 sq.ft.) from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and is one of the only modernist buildings to receive Ontario Heritage Act designation.
